It started in January 2020 just before the world was hit by covid-19. Now I am looking to have my debut novel traditionally published, and well, what a journey it has been so far. I am really excited and terrified all at the same time, it's a real roller-coaster every day. Recently I found an amazing online writing community through Getabookdeal101, Pitch to Published. This morning I was up at 4.50am to join in a live facebook chat with a bunch of writers (mostly living in the US, hence the time I was up-and-at-it) within this P2P community, who are writing middle grade fiction like me. Writing can been a lonely and isolating experience. To be able to grow and learn, and share in the support and encouragement that exists within this wonderful group on a daily basis, is truly a absolute God-sent-blessing for me. I now believe that with hard work, knowledge and perseverance anything is possible.
